Hi,
I changed my hardware to a faster LCD monitor with 2ms refresh rate (from 5ms). When I re-started TW08, it crashed in the middle of the round saying "Direct X error - could not read memory sector XXX"... So, I ran DXDIAG (see attached) and all tests were fine and demanding FPS games like COD and SKYRIM ran fine except for TW08. I then un-installed and re-installed TW08, but the courses are missing even though all files and folders/libraries are present. I ran "analyze files" in TW CADDIE and I get the following warning (see attached) about mis-named files on the orginal courses etc.
So, my question is should I re-install custom courses again? I don't want to have to download everything all over again.
Lastly, here are some questions about graphics settings: * Can I force higher resolution in game of 1920 x 1080 - it's currently not an in-game sel * I have BLOOM off, LENS FLARE off and DEPTH FIELD on - what does DEPTH do? * I tell NVIDIA to FORCE VSYNC OFF - is this okay or should I let TW08 decide this?
Thanks and keep up great work!

Sorry - I forgot to attach DXDIAG output - here it is. The computer runs MATLAB engineering software as well as parallel processing on quad-core and GPU so it should be plenty fast on 32-bit OS with 4G RAM - I also multi-boot in multiple languages (LINUX) via virtualization/partitions so performance should be fine for this game etc...

Hiya Tony...
There is a registry fix for the misnamed files ( stock courses and librariies ) after you reinstalled TW08. JBCalg uploaded the registry fix, see link below:

Note: When you reinstalled TW08 you will have to reinstall the custom courses and libraries with TWCaddie08 |

Thanks bro' - to re-install just click "uninstall" and then "install" in TW CADDIE right? I don't have to download libraries/courses everything again do I? |

Gunny,
All the courses are still on my C:\ drive (see attached) - is there a way to re-install without downloading several gigs of data again? Please advise.

zip each course folder, drag them all to one new folder use caddie to reinstall them that way
and either move or delete them from C: before that and just install from the zip files or likely will get an overwrite caution for each one as it is already there it's just the registry entries that are missing or corrupt |
