I don't see any way to export a list of installed courses, to either text or html. Is there one? I also looked for a Caddie data file that might be opened with a text editor, couldn't find that either. |

I'm on XP. I reverted to a kludge to do this. I used FastStone Capture in scrolling mode to save the list out as a jpg, then OCR'd the jpg to text with Omnipage. Only a few typos to correct. Wish there were an easier way I could tell my buds. |

When you are using Xp there is a very good little tool to do that: Printfolder 1.3 You can download Printfolder 1.3 on link below:
http://no-nonsense-software.com/freeware/
When you installed Printfolder 1.3: go to the courses folder in TW08 game:
C:\Program Files\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses
Right click the folder: Courses........and choose: Printfolder Now a popup screen will appear.... on top check box: subfolders
And now you will receive a list of all installed courses (; you can also save or print that list ). |

Printfolder is a handy addition to my toolkit, thanks. Two problems, though:
1. It extracts the stock course names as 3-letter acronyms, like BOS COG etc. While they're pretty easy to guess, it actually involves more typing than I had correcting the OCR'd text. Of course, one could just delete them since on comparing to another player's list one can assume stock is present.
2. More seriously, but less pertinent to most, I have 2 Courses folders, the second on a second drive. Merging the resulting 2 text files in alphabetical order is beyond my current skills.
The Caddie list is all in order with no acronyms. |

it extracts the folder name - EA uses 3 letters for all stock courses if in doubt, the course.txt file inside each should have the name, or look at the flag or logo
copy both text into excel or other spreadsheet program - in the same column then sort them alpha |
