Hi... First you have to know you have win7 32..... or win7 64 installed on your PC. Below is link how you can find that info about win7:
http://windows7themes.net/what-windows-version-do-i-have-32-or-64.html
(;or on desktop go to: Start....Control panel...system and security...and click: System )
When you found out go to TWCaddie08 download page on link below:
http://www.coursedownloads.com/extras/category.asp?id=1&gameid=11
On that page you will see 2 download links:
when you have win7 32.... download this one: TW Caddie 08 v1.5
when you have win7 64... download this one: TW Caddie 08 x64 Beta
Now it is to time to do step2: See post below |

Step2:
When you installed TWCaddie08 you will have to make sure the program has administrator previleges. (; When you don t do that you will receive message that TW08 game is not installed correct. )
(; right click TWCaddie.exe file and install as administrator....or turn off UAC, user account control in win7 )
Some more help below, it is for Vista, but about same for Win7:
The program needs to have permission from the first time you install it. UAC Creates registery entries for each individual user and denies access to the keys Tiger Woods 08 uses to read courses from.
Simply put here is how to fix every single issue that Vista users have encountered. MAKE SURE THE PROGRAM HAS ADMINISTRATION PRIVILEGES.
So how do you do that you ask?
Browse to the folder you installed TW Caddie 08 usally: C://Program Files/CourseDownloads.com/TW Caddie 08
Locate the following file: TW Caddie 08.exe
(;VISTA 64 BETA) TW Caddie 08 Vista 64.exe
Right Click on that file and select Properties.
With properties Open select the tab labeled Compatibility
In the Compatibility screen you will see a option near the bottom that says: Run This Program as Administrator
Check the box and click Apply and then OK. As the manual says you the program MUST BE RAN AS AN ADMINISTER. IN XP just being logged in as an Admin is enough. Vista and win7 on the other hand you have to tell it to run as an Administer.
This has fixed 99.9% of all reported problems with TW Caddie and Vista or win7. |

ok, I have done all of the suggested fixes for TW caddie 08. I cannot get the file to work, it is stating that Tiger Woods 08 is not installed correctly. The game plays fine. I am running Win 7 x64 SP1. Please feel free to suggest anything. |

Hiya...
You are probably not logged in as administrator. Below is link how to enable the hidden administrator account in win7. There are 3 Ways to Enable the Built-In Windows 7 Administrator Account:
http://www.petri.co.il/enable-the-windows-7-administrator-account.htm
When you did that and you restart your pc you should have option to log in as administrator.

Hello austexal, you are probably using the create myzip feature. We currently are having problems with the create myzip feature, it is not working properly. The site owner TruBluMich is investigating the problem right now. There is a topic about the problem on this link:

Hiya bobo,
Everything is fixed now, so you should be able to install courses with TWCaddie08. Follow steps below:
First you have to know you have win7 32..... or win7 64 installed on your PC. On your desktop go to: Start....Control panel...system and security...and click: System ) There you will find you have win7 32bit or win7 64 bit ( Most people are using win7 64bit )
When you found out you have Win7 32bit or Win7 64bit, go to TWCaddie08 download page on link below:
http://www.coursedownloads.com/extras/category.asp?id=1&gameid=11
On that page you will see 2 download links:
when you have win7 32.... download this one: TW Caddie 08 v1.5
when you have win7 64... download this one: TW Caddie 08 x64 Beta
When TWCaddie08 zipfile is on your PC, the first thing you have to do is to extract or unzip that file. When extracted or unzipped, you should see a file: Setup.exe Dubble click the file Setup.exe, and TWcaddie08 will be installed on your pc.
When you installed TWCaddie08 correct, then you will see a TWCaddie08 icon on your desktop.
Important step: Right click on the TWCaddie08 icon on your desktop, and choose: Properties....on top choose: Compatibility.....and on bottom check box: Run as administrator...and hit: Apply
