Gents,
OK, here is what I have. Running Win 7HP, before starting my latest Clambakers round I had discovered that my custom courses were not showing up in LAN. They were there offline, but not LAN/IP.
I uninstalled the Caddie, then reinstalled by right clicking and running as admin. The installation goes fine, but when I start the Caddie up it only shows stick courses and libs. Since I did not uninstall any of the custom courses and libs that were there, I just figured it must be a path issue. Going through the folders tho I cannot find any custom courses or libs in the folders previously designated.
So I figure, fine, I will go ahead and install this weeks course and try to figure out the other stuff later. Installing the course and libs needed was a breeze, and they show up in the Caddie just fine. They even show up in the right folders just fine.
Here is the twist. When I go into TW08, whether I play offline, online, LAN, IP or EASO, all the custom courses ARE THERE! But they don't show up in the Caddie!!
How is it that they are not registering in the Caddie, not in the folders, but in the game? I could really use some help here, if there is a thread that covers this please point me in the right direction. If I am having this issue all to myself, then you are all invited to my party. Just bring your thinking cap and help me solve this riddle please.

Hi....
You have UAC ( user account control ) On or Off ?
When you have UAC off try to switch to On, and look if the courses/ libraries are showing up in TWCaddie.

Thanks for the reply. I have the UAC on during this problem. Should I shut it off and try to view the course and library files?
OK, just for kicks I did shut the UAC down then rebooted. No change in courses and libraries shown or in the game. |
