Just stumbled on this website. Looks awesome! I've played all the Tiger Woods games on my consoles but never on my laptop, but seeing all the extra courses I can download, I have to give it a bash!
Just wondered what programs I need on my laptop? Thought I read somewhere you need Installer 2.0 minimum...I have 1.0 only; is this adequate? Anything else I need to get hold of and install? |

Hi Dave....
You want to play TW08 or older game ?
When you want to play TW08:
First you will have to install TW08 game from DVD you bought.
Note: when you are playing on laptop and you are using onboard graphics, it is possible your graphics is not strong enough to play the custom courses.
When you want to play TW08 custom courses you will have to install automatic installer: TWcaddie08

Its TW08 that I'd like to play. Im pretty dim when it comes to all things IT, though my laptop seems to run Sim City 4 with no problems (that's the only other game I play on my laptop). Its a Hewlett Packard one, about three years old roughly.
As for the programs I read that you need "NET Framework 2.0 or higher", I only have 1.0. And Windows Installer 3.1, I couldnt find this at all when I looked on the list of all my programs last night. I have all the usual Microsoft stuff on there though, Word, XL, etc. Will this make a difference? |
