This happened before, but not to this extent. After downloading a course, a file will be missing, go to install and it says the old "you must uninstall first" which i do(i even have to hit the regestry and delete it there) BUT,of course when you go to re-install it again says you have to uninstall first and the battle begins.
Anyway, now i go back to quite a few courses(80%) and they're missing libraries now also.

What causes this has been my quest for years

My question is i want to delete caddie and start fresh. I save all my courses in a folder in my documents. To start clean, besides deleting this folder and caddie, should i save my career and re-install tw 08 also ?
Also should i(or will i have to) go in the regestry and delete any files there ?

And could keeping all my courses in a folder in my documents be causing this loss of files to happen? and if so ,where's the best place to store them?

Hi....
Not sure this is the problem but maybe your libraries are installed in temporay folder, see link below:

http://www.coursedownloads.com/forum/posts.asp?post=6380&forum=32

When you decide to uninstall and reinstall TWCaddie and TW08 game:

First uninstall TWCaddie08
After that back up your Career in TW08:
On desktop go to folder: My Documents
inside you will find folder: Tiger Woods PGA tour 08
Right click this folder and choose copy........and paste this folder on your desktop.
After that you can uninstall TW08 game.
(; Optional: when TWCaddie08 and TW08 game are uninstall you can run a registry cleaner to clean registry for remaining files )
Now reinstall TW08 game........and create player with exact same name you used before, and play 1 hole on any stock course.
Now go back on desktop to folder: My Documents.....and inside paste the folder(;Tiger Woods PGA tour 08) you saved before.
You will be asked to overwrite the existing one...say: Yes
After that you can reinstall TWCaddie08

Note: when you open caddie and go to: Options..properties ...you will see where your libraries and courses are installed.
you can change the target if you want.
The default target for libraries is:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\libraries

The default target for courses is:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses

in options/props in caddie it says C:\PROGRA~1\EASPOR~1\TIGERW~1\Courses and C:\PROGRA~1\EASPOR~1\TIGERW~1\Libraries.
re did all ,now it says after first download, files missing and miss named. and all normal game courses on analyse say that files are named wrong or missing on just about all of them , mostly missnamed.
friggin bull, it getting to be WORK to play this. Think i've had it after 3 years. It's SUPPOSE to be fun.

A strange reply when members are trying to help you out of a fix, much the same as the last time :

If this is happening over and over on your PC, perhaps the problem lies on YOUR PC. The only problem we have seen with libraries disappearing dealt with Vista and users either signing in under other user accounts or not having proper administrative rights to write to the registry. Perhaps you have a virus on your machine that is periodically removing entries from your registry. Regardless, we have tried to help and all we seem to be getting from you is attitude. I understand your frustration, but we are trying to help with the limited info you have provided.
