| You haven't exactly given us a lot of information to work with to solve the problem. Are you sure you haven't accidentally uninstalled those libraries? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling those libraries? |

| Yes I have many times ...also when I play the courses that came on the disk all the sounds and buildings are there. |

None of the stock courses use those libraries, which is why they will play despite you seeing those messages.
When you try to uninstall the libraries using the Caddie program are you getting any error messages? When you try to reinstall the libraries using the Caddie program are you getting any error messages? Before you do the analysis, do you see these libraries listed in the installed libraries area of the Caddie program?
What operating system are you using? |

| I m using XP Pro. Yes I see them in installed libraries.Also when I try and play a downloaded course it will not load.Freezes up at the start where it is loading the game. I have to force end the game to get out of it.Also when I click on properties I get a error that the file or path not found...(;Libraries\Bird Sounds\Bird Sounds.tcl) |

| It sounds like the libraries have been deleted from your PC without the entries being removed from the Registry. Go to where you have TW installed (typically this is C:\Program Files\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08\). Looks in the Libraries directory and see if you see a "Bird Sounds" directory. If there is a directory, look inside and see if you see the TCL library file in there. If you don't see the library file, the easiest fix will be do redownload the Bird Sounds library and unzip it into the Bird Sounds directory in that location. Repeat this for each of the libraries you are missing. |

| Ok thanks for all your help.....BUT..every course I download installs into C:\Documents and Settings\Dennis\Local Settings\Temp\Libraries..and I have to manually move them to C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Libraries.I have checked properties on Course Downloader and the default directory is C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Libraries..how do I fix this ole wise one ..:) |

| Well, that explains why those libraries are missing. It is installing to a temp folder that is getting cleared out periodically and is wiping those libraries out. Make sure in the Preferences that you have the default install location set to somewhere other than that temp directory (such as C:\Program Files\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008\Libraries). Try installing 1 library. When it goes to install, make sure the install location that comes up is the correct location. If not, use the browse button and browse to where you want the library installed. Hopefully that will fix the problem. |

try creating a different (ie non .../Temp) location for the initial download
on desktop or elsewhere (can always create a desktop shortcut with right-click from where ever you create the folder)
then install from there to the location as jsj describes above |

| I have done that change the directory and it still goes to the "temp" thats the problem I have changed the install and where to download the file and it still goes to the temp directory |

| Uninstalll TW Caddie 08 and Reinstall with V 1.5... There is no reason other then setting not being set correctly this should be happening. That path is not hard coded i nthe software so it has to be set manually or by running the exe from a temp folder. |

| I just reinstalled with the new version which is what I was useing and still the same thing downloads to the temp directory and I have to manually move the files to the TW Library directory and then change the properties on each file so that the game will see it. |

From that screenshot, I can't tell where the program is trying to install the libraries. It just lists "Libraries" as the location to install them. Try this:
1) At the top, check the box that says "Always ask for a target installation directory". This means every time a file is installed, you will be prompted for a location. By doing this, you can ensure that the correct path is listed.
2) in the Default Installation Directory, make your entries read like this:
Courses: C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses
Libraries: C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Libraries
When finished, make sure to click Save at the bottom. |

The installation directories have been manually changed.
The reason the files are going into the temp directory is thats is where TW Caddie 08 is installed, which means the program was not installed via the Installer or was changed during setup. |
