The Caddie program for TW08 on the PC was written by TruBluMich. He did not write a Mac version. Unless someone on another website that specializes in TW and Macs has written an installer program, one doesnt exist. |

The Mac version is actually just the Windows version in what is called a Cider Wrap. It requires an Intel Mac to run, and inside the package contents is just C:/Program Files/EA Sports/etc...
My question is, can the courses be installed manually? If so, where do I put the files? |

Do Macs have a Registry? If so go into the registry and do a search for Pebble Beach that should lead you in the right direction. |

Thanks for the reply.
No - Macs dont have a registry - but I assume for this to work since it is a Cider Port, inside the Tiger Woods 08.app on the Mac, there must be some sort of registry. Ill investigate.
Okay, I added the course manually to /courses/AUG/ (;changed the folder name to AUG) and added it to filelist.txt with entries:
1,1,Courses\AUG\logo.dds etc for each file
What I could do with is knowing what the installer does and where it puts the files and what changes it makes so TW08 knows the course is there. |

In Windows the location of the actual files does not matter except if the courses are outside of the games usual course directory, the CLS will not work. What course installers do for Windows is to create a registry entry with the course GUID indicating the file path, as well as the file paths to the other items, the logo, the courses splash screen, the flag, and the txt description file. |
