I have Tiger Woods 08 and I have also installed TW Caddie 08 on Windows Vista Ultimate. I have downloaded Augusta 2008 and the course is beautiful. I have also transfered courses from TW06 and 07. The only problem is when I start up the game the "new" courses are not listed. If I exit game and open up the course files in TW 08 using explorer and then exit explorer and then start TW08 again the courses are available. Is there a better way? I also have ATI HD4850. Thanks.

Hi Ron....
To play TW07 custom courses in TW08 game, it is good idea to add a logo to the courses.
There is a logo pack available on this site ( you can download ).
Some reading about adding TW07 stock libraries and logos below:
Hi ...
When you install TW07 custom courses in TW08 game, you will also have to install the TW07 stock libraries.
TW07 stock libraries are not listed on the required libraries list.
Do next steps, and it should work:
On homepage of Coursedownloads site you will see on left side section: Libraries
Inside section libraries, you will have option: Search for architect
Do a search for architect: EA
you will also see another box called: For
In box...For....select TW07
after that click: Search
now you will have a list of all TW07 stock libraries
Install all TW07 stock libraries in TW08 game with TWCaddie08
After that you should be able to install and play TW07 courses in TW08 game
To add the new logos:
First go to section: Utilities
select TW08 game.....game display...
and inside section game display you will find:
TW08splash and logo pack01
Download this file and unzip the logo zip file.
Now download TW07 custom course.....and install the course in TW08 with TWCaddie08
For example try: Emirates golf club
When you installed the course, go to the TW08 logo pack01 you downloaded and unzipped before.
Inside the logos you will find logo Emirates
right click the logo Emirates and choose: Copy
When you installed the course you will find it ( default) on next location:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses\Emirates Golf Club-Majlis 07
Now look in this course folder: Emirates Golf Club-Majlis 07
Inside right click empty space and choose: paste
and now you will see logo file Emirates
You will also see other file called: logo
Remove the file: logo.........and rename the logo emirates you pasted before to: logo
( right click emirates logo....and rename to: logo )
Now start Emirates course and you should see the new logo.

| Thanks for your advice, especially about the logos. I still have to physically open the course folder and then restart TW08 to see the add-on courses to play. My hats off to the course designers.....I used to not use them because my then lower end computer could not do them justice. Now with a better computer and videocard the courses I have downloaded so far are FANTASTIC! |

That is ODD!
Id like to give you a better way but I do not have any idea why opening a folder would make a course work. |
