Greetings fellow goofers, I mean Golfers.
I have a problem with TW08Caddie un-installing Courses & Libraries.
It will not do It. I have Vista Home Edition with all full Administrator privileges.
These courses keep telling me that I have not installed the Libraries, or the Course needs to be Installed.If I try to do one or the other, I receive a message that states that I have to un-install the Course or the Libraries first??
So how do I do that, TW08 Caddie will not un-install anything. Some of these files when high lighted, there is no option to un- install??

| If the uninstall feature is not available that library or course is a stock course or library that came with the game. If you want that option available you can got to Options and uncheck Protect Stock Libraries and Courses. |

I have a similar problem with an add on course. When I un-install it there are 3 libraries that wont un-install. I use the caddie. I un-install the individual libraries and the pop up in the caddie suggest it does un-install. Yet the Library still appears on the list. I refresh the list I leave the caddie, Ive rebooted the computer. they appear in the caddie but wont go away. When I try to reinstall the course it says they are already installed and must be unistalled before they can be installed. It a viscious circle.
I Hate vista!!
follow up. While I still Hate Vista it may not have been the problem. I tried to manually delete the directories and libraries that caddie was still showing. I could not find the directory. I unhide system file etc. Out of desparation I simple created the directory C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\libraries the phatom entries in Caddie went away and the re-install worked with out incident. |

Second That!
Im working on a newer version of TW Caddie that's more Vista Friendly, although Im not 100% sure why I have to program around bugs in an OS, but tis life I Suppose. |
