I really apologize for the beginners question, as i am sure it is common sense to everyone else. haha. But when I try to run Caddie Support from my desktop it says Tiger Woods was not installed correctly. I had installed tiger woods in the standard settings (not customized). Do I have uninstall it and then reinstall it diferrently?
Any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks!

Are you trying to use it for TW08 or for an earlier version? TW Caddy only works for TW08. If you have an earlier version, you either need to use Course Utilities that comes with that TW version or the CLSetup programs that are available in the Utilities area of this site.
Also, you only need to post your topic in one forum area. |

Thanks for the reply! No, I am trying to install it with O8. I just uninstalled it and was going to try again. Do I need to install it into any other folder than the default install indicates? |

It shouldnt matter where you install it. The program should find where your TW08 game is installed automatically.
What OS are you installing this on (Vista or XP)? |

thanks for the response trublue. unfortunately I had already been to that post and tried those suggestions. It still says I have no courses installed and have not installed the game correctly.
I am kind of at a loss for anything else to try. Is anyone else having this issue at all?
I really appreciate any help. After getting a new computer a week ago I am already tired of playing strictly stock courses.. :)

Are you running Vista 64 by chance? This would explain why the program is not finding any courses....
If not OK, Click on your start menu... Now Click on the run icon.. In the run line next to where it says open type in: regedit
You now have your registery Open....
Open the folder Labled HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Now Open the Folder Labled SOFTWARE Now Open the folder Labled EA Sports Next Open the folder Labled Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 Now Open the Folder Labled Courses
Now Right Click on the Courses Folder and select Export, in the file browser be sure to select txt file as file type. After your done upload the text file that is generated and upload it here. See screen shot to see file saving option. While your in there please right click on the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 folder and select Permissions make sure that your username has full control checked for that folder. |

First off TruBlu, i can not thank you enough for taking the time to help me!! I truly appreciate it very much! THANK YOU!!
I followed your instructions...and the only part I am confused on is the last step to upload the text file that is created to this file. Not to be a total loser, but I am not sure how to do that. After I hit export and then put in a file name to save....can you elaborate on that next step?
If your patience has run out with me I totally understand...i am a total computer novice who just loves to play the game! :)
THANK AGAIN for your help...and I apologize for the stupid questions..
