Hello
I installed the Caddie when first released, it has worked beautifully until this morning. An overnight update from windows did not install. I now receive the TW Caddy has encountered a problem and needs to close error.
The update was Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Sevice Pack 1
(KB110608)
Since the update did not install I do not know why the Caddy has stopped.
I run Windows XP Pro.
btw .. whispering (the old cl still works)
Was this update the one that was an issue before?

Do you mean the whole .NET Framework, or just the update.
Ive tried to install the update 3 times already with no luck
I have versions 1.0, 1.1, 1.1 Hotfix and 2.0 and security update for 2.0 installed. |

I uninstalled 2.0, reinstalled, and as of now Caddy is working :-)
But i received that confounded update that wont install again.
Any ideas how to get rid of it?
Or is it needed, it will not go through the complete installation.

| I received that same update that you are talking about today. For some reason it takes longer to install then most of the other windows updates. It does appear that it isnt installing, but if you give it time it will. |

Hey thanks, but..
I let the update run its course, and when finished, received installation did not complete , and the following updates were not installed.
I tried 3 times, finally said the heck with it.
Thing is, the update is like Jason!
It keeps coming back to install! |

| I see now why those updates took so long to download and install. They were 186 MBs worth. |
