I have uploaded a version that should work on x64 systems. Since I do not have Vista or XP 64 then Im not sure if it works correctly yet. You can download it by going to Utilities or clicking on the link below
THIS VERSION WILL NOT WORK ON Windows XP or WIndows VISTA I have a new version of the program I will be uploading shortly for those users.

Unfortunately there are errors when I try to install a myzip file via Open Installation Archive. On first attempt I got this:
System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: path at System.IO.Path.GetFullPath(String path) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.FileIO.FileSystem.GetParentPath(String path) at TW08Caddiex64.InstallDialog.InstallCourse(Object ZipFile) at TW08Caddiex64.InstallDialog.selectFile() at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
After editing the Permissions on the installation directory to Modify for Users I get this:
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Libraries\AugustaStructures is denied. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.Directory.InternalCreateDirectory(String fullPath, String path, DirectorySecurity dirSecurity) at System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(String path, DirectorySecurity directorySecurity) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.FileIO.FileSystem.CopyOrMoveFile(CopyOrMove operation, String sourceFileName, String destinationFileName, Boolean overwrite, UIOptionInternal showUI, UICancelOption onUserCancel) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.MyServices.FileSystemProxy.CopyFile(String sourceFileName, String destinationFileName, Boolean overwrite) at TW08Caddiex64.InstallFiles.InstallLibrary(Object path) at TW08Caddiex64.InstallFiles.FindLibraries(String path) at TW08Caddiex64.InstallDialog.InstallCourse(Object ZipFile) at TW08Caddiex64.InstallDialog.selectFile() at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)
After giving Users Modify access to the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08 directory I got further through the installation but ran into this registry error:
System.Security.SecurityException: Requested registry access is not allowed. at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.OpenSubKey(String name, Boolean writable) at TW08Caddiex64.GetRegInfo.isLibraryInstalled(Object SubKey) at TW08Caddiex64.InstallFiles.CheckforMissingLibs(String FILE_NAME) at TW08Caddiex64.InstallFiles.InstallCourseZip(String path) at TW08Caddiex64.InstallDialog.InstallCourse(Object ZipFile) at TW08Caddiex64.InstallDialog.selectFile() at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Window |

Thanks for the update, giving the Users group Full permissions did the trick. Its odd that the permissions issue is so different between platforms.
More importanty, thank you very much for all the work you do providing TW Caddie 08 and all the features at CourseDownloads.com. Your work here is greatly appreciated. |

Everything worked also fine for me. I got a problem with UAC in Vista enabled. After disabling this, everything worked. |

Glad to hear its working. The permissions issue is different between Vista and XP. .NET Framework wont allow me to create folders or files without the correct permissions being set. |

I am running Vista 64 bit. I was having an issue with courses not installing properly with the regular version. This one works like a charm. No problems at all.
Thanks. |

I have been unable to get TW Caddie to work on my system. I have Vista Home Premium, 64 bit dual core 3800 with 2GB ram. I am presently using CL Setup with no problems but everyon tells mer TW Caddie is better. Everything seems to be ok until I try to install a course and then it tells me the path is denied. Any ideas? |

its best to use the Admin account with Vista, its disabled by default, first youll need to open a command prompt in administrator mode by right-clicking and choosing Run as administrator( command promtstart/all programs/accessories ),now type the following command: net user administrator /active:yes
reboot and you have the option to logon as administrator. |

TBM, just ran across something interesting to note when helping a PGAX player get started with the caddie. He is using XP 64, courses install fine and everything works as expected. I made sure he set the install paths in the options correctly. The only odd thing is when installing from a file with just the .zip extension the logo, flag, txt do not get installed but use the default CS ones. When installing a .myzip from the site here, or if he renames a std zip to a myzip everything works as expected. I had not seen anything on this before so I thought I would point it out as an FYI. |
