I know this has been covered but I am experiencing a problem not described in other forum discussions. I have installed the most recent windows .net as described in one post. I have downloaded (I have TW08) TW Caddie 08 and I am the adminstrator for my software. When I click to open Caddie, it appears that it is trying to open and something is causing it not to. It flashed between the desktop and an open window so fast that I cannot see what is displayed. There is no way to stop it would logging off. Any suggestions? I am not a computer dummy but I am not a programmer either.

New one. Question are you using the shortcut or the exe located in the install folder.
What version of Vista are you using 64 or 32? |

Hi,
Watching the Masters reminded me that I hadnt been here in awhile, so I logged on to the site to see what was new, and was elated to see the TW caddy 08. I downloaded it and installed it by clicking setup. Should I have clicked on Windows Installer package instead? After it was installed I ran it and it came up with an unhandled exception error and then it said tw08 is not properly installed on your computer, and then another message saying that I had no courses installed, and after that it finally let me into the program, and I tried to install the Agusta myzip file and it gave me a message about access being denied to the file path where the game is located, and then I recalled that with the previous program (wont mention its name) that there was a certain target directory that all courses had to be installed into and I couldnt recall which one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, its been about 8 months since I last installed a course and that was in tw06.
Im running Vista ultimate 32-bit I believe, sorry for the double post, this just seems like a more appropriate thread for my problem.

Dont know what happened but the message listed under my name is not the one I sent. I am having problems but I described the error message in mine. I cannot seem to find my original message but I will try to repeat it best I can.
I had a computer crash and bought a new one. Was running Vista 32 bit but new machine has Vista 64. No problems with the other machine. I dl TW Caddie for Vista 64, then dl a course. When I try to install the course, I get the following message: Access to the path C:\Program Files\CourseDownloads.com\TW Caddie 08 - Vista 64\Temporary Install Files\001 os denied. When I click on the OK button, I get a message that say Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. When I click continue, I starts the install but locks up and never installs the course or libraries.
I am the only user and as default, the administrator. When I right click to open TW Caddie, it does not give the option to run as the administrator.

You need to go to C:\Program Files\CourseDownloads.com\ and right click on the folder named TW Caddie 08 - Vista 64 and go to permissions make sure that your user name has full control for that folder. |

I dont know what to look for when I open Coursedownloads.com but I dont see any information to suggest that I am a user listed in the folder. I am not as computer savvy as obviously you are so I appreciate any help you can provide. I was able to open and look and this is what I saw in the folder. I will abbreviate some of the file names:
ICSharpCode.Sharpzip.....
license.rtf
TW Caddie 08 Vista 64....
User Guide.pdf
