Augusta 2008 : is using mis-named library files. This could cause undesired effects while playing.
Augusta 2008 is actually named Augusta 2008 Ver 2
any ideas how to fix?

| Augusta 2008 isnstalls but doesnt show as a course. It does show as a course online but crashes when starting a game. |

I found the problem with Augusta and it was actually Rolling Green that showed me why....Could not figure out why some people were having problems and others were not.
Rolling Green had a space at the end of the Course name in the TCR, well I installed Augusta AGAIN and noticed it had a space as well. The course worked on my machine and installed fine but others were having trouble...taking out the space worked. I can not pinpoint why but I fixed that problem by checking and removing the space, I have a patched version of the program done, adding a few options that people requested, but am waiting a couple more days to see if there are any other bugs that I missed.
In the mean time Open Course Properties and Remove the space after Augusta 2008
Before: C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses\Augusta 2008 \Augusta 2008.tcr
After: C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses\Augusta 2008\Augusta 2008.tcr
The space is after C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses\Augusta 2008
I excpected a few bugs as theres no way a small amount of testers can catch everything, all in all they did a great job finding things, if it wasnt tested WOW, this place would be flooded right now. |

says course is downloaded, but in the game there is no course, still says same error, no spaces after 2008..
any other suggestions :)

Yup lets start with what operating system....
Do any other courses you installed with TW Caddie work?
Only other person who had a problem with a course installing correctly solved it by uninstalling and installing it again.
Heres the problem with what I know so far....if the course shows up in the course list and you go to properties and everythings correct, it uses the exact same information that Tiger Woods 08 uses to read courses, so its hard to trouble shoot why the installer would show it but not the game.
NEXT this is for Tiger Woods 2008 correct? Had one report of the course not showing up in game, but they had both Tiger 08 and 07 and were loading 07 and of course it wasnt showing.
The next question is where are you looking for the course to be listed at? If your looking online and you havent select CUSTOM GAME then it wont show. |
