Hi , Im playing TW08 on the Golf4Fun tour and find that every course I download do not have any crowds/galleries with empty stands.
I'm pretty sure the problem is at my end but could anyone tell me how this might be fixed?
many thanks in advance for any help.

Hello, start TW08.....on main screen choose: Game modes..... Custom game.......Advanced ( books with cup icon )....
And check box: Use Tournament Audio
Ans set Tournament atmosphere: PGA Tour
Important note: The designer can choose to use galleries or not, so a lot of custom courses are not using galleries, so you can t see them there.
Another thing you can try:
In TW08 in options..... the galleries are set to: Auto
When you don t have a strong PC system, then the game can disable the galleries when it is set to: Auto
Then in options you can try to set the galleries: High

Many thanks for coming back Gunpowder, I looked at all those things you stated and they were set as you indicated but still no crowds and "no logo" for every course downloaded, but thanks for your help.

Hello Ken,
The crowds problem is easy to fix, the crowds are inside the cls folder ( cls = Course Life System )
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can add CLS folder of one of the stock courses.
I tried CLS folder of Harbour Town.
(You can also use CLS folder of other stock course )
Go to ( default path ):
C:\Program Files(x86)\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses\HAR
Go inside folder: HAR.......and you will find folder: CLS
Right click the folder CLS and choose: Copy
Now go to the custom course for example: Grand Tahoe Resort ( default path ) :
C:\Program Files(x86)\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses\Grand Tahoe Resort
Inside folder: Grand Tahoe Resort........right click empty space and choose: Paste
And CLS folder will be added in Grand Tahoe Resort folder
When you now play Grand Tahoe Resort , then you should see the crowds
For the missing Logo:

When you are installing TW08 courses with TWCaddie08:
For example: Grand Tahoe Resort ( default path ) :
C:\Program Files(x86)\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses\Grand Tahoe Resort
After you installed the course with TWCaddie08, and you don t see a logo:
Inside the downloaded course zipfile from Coursedownloads you will see a file: logo.dds
Now you have to copy the logo from the downloaded zipfile, and paste it inside the installed coursefolder
C:\Program Files(x86)\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses\Grand Tahoe Resort
So paste the logo.dds inside the Grand Tahoe Resort folder, you will be asked to overwrite the existing logo, choose: Yes
Note: Maybe in future you can try to install TW08 courses with the Create Myzip Feature (i upgraded your create myzip size )

With the create myzip feature everything will be installed automatic.
How to install Courses:
1.The easiest way it to use the create myzip feature:
When you found a course to download: Just click on Create myzip.... and it will start to create your zipfile
After that choose open.....and TWCaddie08 will install all required libraries and the course in TW08 game.
Another option is to save the myzip file on your pc.
After that dubble click the saved myzip file on you PC, and TWCaddie08 will install all required libraries and the course in TW08 game.

Hi Gunpower, many thanks for taking the time to give me such detailed information.
I tried downloading Erin Hills with the my zip feature and got the course logo but still no crowds.
I also tried copy and paste with a cls folder but still no crowds.
Dont worry and thanks again for your help.

| you can only see crowds in game mode, you cant see them in practice mode. |
