After a crash, I am trying to rebuild my installed courses. I have a 64 bit machine and I use TW Caddie 08 Vista 64. The bottom line of my problem is that the Caddie shows a course and/or a library is installed but it doesn't show up in the game. I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling without success. I've checked and double checked to make sure my property settings are correct. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Hiya Deacon Dan, is it only one course or library you have problems with. So with other words can you install and play other courses ? |

A bit strange, the only thing i can think about is that you are using the wrong version of TWCaddie08, or you are not running TWCaddie08 as administrator. But you said: I have a 64 bit machine and I use TW Caddie 08 Vista 64, so you are using the correct version of TWCaddie08. When you installed TWCaddie08 correct, then you will have TWCaddie08 icon on desktop. On desktop right click TWCaddie08 icon, and choose Properties....compatibility...and on bottom check box: Run as administrator...and hit: Apply |

To explain a little further, I finally got a course installed by ignoring Caddie's comments. For example, I deleted a library and tried to install a new one. Caddie told me there was one still installed. I elected to overwrite it and it seems to have worked. I would install a course file and Caddie said it was OK but the game said it wasn't. Caddie said all the library files were OK but the games said they were missing. |

I am bit confused now, can you install and play a course now ? Did you use the CLtool08 before ? ( the tool to make courses invisible in TW08 ) |

Yes. As I said I finally got a course installed and played it. It sure took me a long time to get it working. Caddie was not a lot of help. |

maybe this will explain better the trouble I'm having. Caddie says that 2 other courses I installed are OK and ready to play. The game, however, says these courses are missing files. |

Ok, you can find what libraries are missing. Open TWCaddie08, and at the left side you will see the installed courses. Dubble click on the coursename ( text ) and a pop up will appear with all required libraries. All libraries must say: True When you see libraries that say: False ......then you will have to download and install those libraries. |

What I'm saying is that when I double click on the course, Caddie shows true on all libraries. But when I go to play the course, the game says files are missing. |

Are you sure TW08 is closed when you install a course and libraries ? You always have to close TW08 when you install with TWCaddie08. When still not working, maybe you will have to uninstall TWCaddie08, and after that uninstall TW08, and reinstall everything. |
