I have the TW08 working, but when I go to install a course it starts loading and then simply freezes up.

Figuring it might simply be a slow load I left and came back 20 minutes later. It was still in same installation point.

Prior to installation I received an error message with the below details. Happen to know what it's telling me and how to get around this issue?

Thanks much!

Hello, the most common reasons that TWCaddie08 is not working:

1. The wrong version of TWCaddie08 is installed. ( there is a TWCaddie08 version for 32bit windows system, and a version for 64bit windows system )
2. And you have to run TWCaddie08 as administrator.

Some more help here, when you are using Vista or Win7:

http://www.coursedownloads.com/forum/posts.asp?post=8478&forum=32

When you are using win8:

http://www.coursedownloads.com/forum/posts.asp?post=9641&forum=32

When you are using Win10:

http://www.coursedownloads.com/forum/posts.asp?post=10410&forum=32

Note:
To Run TWCaddie08 as administrator on Win7 or Vista or Win8:
On desktop right click the TWCaddie08 icon.....choose: Properties....compatibility...and check box: Run as administrator...and click: Apply

To Run TWCaddie08 as administrator on Win10:
Right click TWCaddie08 icon....choose properties....on top click: Shortcut......and then on bottom click: Advanced
And check the Run as administrator box, and click: OK

You are a stud for answering so quickly!

The TW08 is working (Win10 64bit).

It's just that when I attempt to install a course it begins to and then freezes up.

I have another "thread" going on that, and should have waited for reply from you.

The attached one here is the same as my other question attachment.

I'm just "this close" to getting it work because it's trying to load.

Think I got it finally.

It was the admin issue. Couldn't click it in properties, but in compatibility mode could make it run there.

Thanks for being there!

Really appreciate your help and this site even existing!

Something that I ran across that might help some folks that think there's a problem with loading the game:

On my laptop when I attempt to open the game I get a completely black screen. Once I hear "It's in the game" as the game loads (still with the black screen) I hit control-alt-del to bring up task manager. Once the task manager comes up I simply close it and there's the game, ready to go.

Don't know why it does it, and even with some really sharp guy from Microsoft taking over my laptop and ripping through it, we could never get the game to load "clean" without the control-alt-del step.

Thanks again for being out there!

Roger
