One of the (many) great features of this site is the ability for people to post brief comments on courses that they have downloaded. This is a great tool for new designers to learn, and for any designer to get some feedback from the people who have played the course.

I completely agree. The only way for a designer to improve his/her course designs is to get feedback both positive and negative. Designers (myself included) are not looking for a pat on the back, but are just looking for anything constructive. Is the panorama a good fit? Too few/many undulations? Greens too easy/tough/just right? Course life system ties in well/poorly with the feel of the course? Too many/few plantings?

I would agree, I have over 600 download on my course now and 1 comment in regards to the course itself. I think comment can also come with time. The people that have ben around the longest get the comment. All I do, is try to make the course complete and I can. Have people like Golfcart beta test as I did. Then I let the course speak for itself. If you keep putting out good stuff people will start commenting.

Since I cant seem to PM for whatever reason (probably my fault) Ill just say thank you to TigerShark here for your comments on Kensington. If everyone wrote something like that on every 3rd or 4th course that they played, I think the quality of the courses would be much much better. I would never expect so detailed a review though for comments, but I aint complaining.
