Hi all I have been playing tiger woods 2005 fine on Win XP / SP2 for the past year until today. I put in courses disc to start playing and it comes up PROTECTION ERROR. Why is this? I have uninstalled and installed 2 times now and also installed TW2006 but it still comes up with the same error on both games. Can someone help please.

hi chris happened to me first time i tried to install it and i took the drastic action of wiping everything and return my pc to when i first bought it it worked but if you go to tiger woods community there was a solution to this problem you had to alter something in registry cant remember but a staff member there posted it Bruce R ? but it was something i hadnt tried so head there and ask
