How often should I optimize items as Im creating a new course? Do I
need to optimize everything or are there certain items that need it
more than others?I appreciate the help. I dont want to go through all the trouble of building a course only to not have it work properly.  ThanksBundy

There are many opinions and different methods to optimizing. For me, I optimize every bunker and bunker lip as I do them, and every other shape once Im done with the elevation. With TW06, you need to optimize as you go (unlike PGA or earlier versions of TW).

Do I need to optimize everything? For example, should I optimize the Deep Rough? Is it possible to OVER Optimize?I know these are a lot of questions but Id like to get things right the first time if possible.ThanksBundy

| Yes it is definitely possible to over-optimize. And yes, you should optimize the deep rough or base texture, but not too much. That is why many designers use the buffer shapes. There are a couple interesting tutorials that can be found |

Thanks very much for the advice. Ive dropped my Points from over 400
000 down to a current total of 145 139 and everything seems to be
working good except my tree problem I mentioned in another post.Thanks again.Bundy
