Hi Everyone:
Hope all is going well for everyone.
Upon completing my tests of a beta course this afternoon, I clicked on the bar at the end of the round to take me back to the main menu, however, I was taken out of the game and back to my desktop insted.
When I opened the Bin Folder in my game file, I discovered that an ErrorLog stating that, TW2006 caused an access violation, had been created by the game. I have experienced several of these ErrorLogs that the game has created when playing 06.
I bought my game six weeks ago and have had to uninstall and re-install the game at least eight times because of Errors like these and other problems when playing in different modes of the game.
(My system is: AMD Athlon XP 1800+, with 1 gig PC2100 memory, 80 Gig. 7200 RPM hard drive, Radeon 9600 256Meg. AGP video card, a Soundblaster Live sound card and Windows 2000. Never had this problem with TW2005.)
If you have been taken out of the game and back to your desktop from anywhere in the game, you may find that there are errorlogs in your Bin Folders also.
Regards.

Hi Everyone:
Hope all is going well with everyone.
I would like to Apologize to everyone for my comments about the errorlogs causing the game to crash! The errorlogs did not cause the problem crashing or with having to uninstall and re-install my operating system several times!
I went through the notes that I made when the problems occurred! When I had the problem with the several installs and uninstalls of my O.S., the original O.S. CD has a large, fairly deep scratch on it, and this could have been the reason for all of the re-installs of my O.S. that I had to do. This may have been the cause of the stock libraries not installing correctly also. (When you reach retirement age, you keep notes on everything, lol.)
The last re-install of my O.S. was done using the back up of the original O.S. CD that I made when I first got my operating system several yaers ago And, the game and the stock libraries installed properly this time.
I downloaded and installed my DirectX 9.0C from Microsofts website, have all of the latest drivers, and the only processes that are running in the background are those necessary to keep my computer functioning properly.
I am still experimenting with the removal of the cls files in the custom courses folders to see if the removal of them does help eliminate the crashing of the game to the desktop when playing custom courses.
Once again, My Apologizes to everyone for the mistakes made in my previous posts.
Regards.
