Im pretty sure this is going to be viewed as a stupid question, but I cannot seem to find the answer anywhere in the PDF file that came with the Course Architect for TW2006.
Anyway, here my situation. I created 18 holes for my course through the New Course Wizard. I went ahead and compiled it, just so I could see what it looked like in its bland state before I started tweaking.
So after compilation, I go in to play it, figuring thats the best way to view it. But it looks like none of the stuff has any depth...my guess is that all of the items need to be dropped, but I could be wrong about that. The sand traps are all flat, the terrain looks all flat (although it shouldnt because I selected rolling). The trees look fake. Can anyone tell me what Im not doing?
Thanks.

Another thing I have just noticed. The difficult pin placements I set dont seem to be used.
Or does the Course Architect have things backwards and odd numbers are the EASY placements? |

pin placements apparently are even = difficult, odd = easy but you have to start at 0 (ie 0,1,2,3 not 1,2,3,4) |

Ah, the old programming saw of counting starting at 0...I should have thought of that (being a programmer).
I also notice that ALL of my trees look DEAD. Anyone know why that might be? Even my huge leafy trees...just look dead or like maybe its the middle of winter or something. |
