I keep getting a error after placing all libs in stating that i need 3 libs from TW2005 (which i own) the 3 libs are St Andrews,Turnberry, & Emerald Dragon. Now i got Turnberry in, but checked my course disc from TW2005 & my backup discs (i made when i uninstalled 2005) and i CANNOT FIND emerald dragon at all, all i get is like 3 documentation files & a splash screen for emerald dragon.........plus on top of that the Course Utilitie is telling me St. Andrews is not found even though it shows under my installed libs (matter of fact i have St. Andrews 2003 & 2004 installed just in case) & both show as being installed under my lib list, what gives with the St. Andrews lib & especially Emerald Dragon not being found at all on 2005 course disc??? cant play this crz until i get these 2 bugs solved

emerald dragon is in the JPN folder jpn.tcl
st. andrews is sta.tcl may have to uninstall the previous versions or place them in a separate lib folder so TW doesnt get confused |

are you installing the libraries into the course folders? or installing them into a separate library folder? better to have them all in one place, not in individual course folders (and if you change them, will need to reinstall them all in one location, then reinstall the custom course i believe, cant just move them around without effecting courses)
id start over with this course tho uninstall everything you installed for this course and uninstall the 03 and 04 st andrew libraries,
then install the libraries for this course then the course
if your libraries are completely baffed, may need to reinstall game and start over - make sure you save the tw06 folder in MyDocuments to keep your players and levels tho |

im at a lost 4 words, but i will not uninstall due to 1 course, if all other courses are working (including many customs) i simply see this as a waste period, but just cant explain why this particular crz is giving me probs, your guess as good as mine??? |

no, game uninstall a bit drastic :)
still dont know: - did you completely uninstall the course and the custom libraries, including the old st andrews - do you install custom libraries to same folder as course?
otherwise - yah, move on - not worth all the hassle for one course |

One other thing I will suggest is that you may be missing other 2005 stock libraries. Did you install the Architect Libraries that come with 2005 (Architect, Bridges, Buildings, Miscellaneous Structures, Stairs && Walkways, Walls && Fences)? These libraries came with the 2005 game and should have come with the 2006 game, but were omitted. They were bundled with the 2006 Course Architect instead. These libraries are needed for many of the custom courses.
Royal St. Sebastian uses Buildings, Bridges and Architect. If you do a full install of TW2005, you will find these libraries inside your Courses folder in a subfolder called Architect Libraries. The Architect library is the one named NCW.tcl. |

Yes, Architect libraries are installed, and i really, really appreciate all the help/tips/hints from everybody within the community, but i do know how to correctly install everything using the course utility program, i have already installed almost every single new custom course that has been put out to date with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 of them, this is the FIRST course that has given me this type of problem, ill try uninstalling all libs & the course itself & try a reinstall & if that doesnt work, ohhhhhh well then, i just move on............. |

Ok got it to work, key seemed to be the St Andrews library (2003) that is included with the files, needed to be put in a seperate folder (the folder where the course is located) but now upon testing the course, the doggone sky is like a greenish color, any clues on that now??? |

Scotty - glad to hear (read?) you got it to work - sort of
Jeff - you can also extract the arch libs for 05 (you probably knew that), but for most its probably easier to install and copy them
hyno - so the user has to edit the .ini settings after install? no offense, but seems that would create probs for some of the lesser experienced players/users who find it hard enough just to use the CU
(im not including you in that comment Scotty
