I downloaded the Mary Hill course into TW 05 and started to play the game. Well, as soon as it started the trees in the background were blue and not green? I have a very good video card(Radeon 800 XL) Also I chose auto settings for the graphics option. So what is wrong?

Havent seen any others having issues with the course. Do you have the latest video drivers loaded?

auto settings are your problem, set to manual and turn down tree detail.

No, I tried that. I set tree detail on low and the background trees were still blue. I even updated my drivers. I believe TW 05 isnt compatiable with the new Radeon 800 XL graphics card. But, all the other courses look great. So I dont know?

LOL welcome to the wonderful world of old ea stock libs. They arent now, they wont ever be, compatitable. Whats simply sad is when designers choose to ignore this and use them anyway because the tree just looks better.

Come on boys, lets hear ya argue w me, tell me Im wrong. Better yet, just simply show people how much u care, how smart u are with the CA, just use the old stocks again this yr for 06.

Here is what you have to remember!! Just because you dont see a problem doesnt mean its ok to use!! The best thing for any new designer and any experienced ones still having a hard time grasping this concept, just dont do it. Just dont use the old stuff. If you dont do it then u cant be blamed, and oddly enough, wont be blamed cuz magically your little problems go away!! Just say no to old libs and make the new ones work for u. Lots if us have done it on every course, theres no reason or excuse to use them. Its just sadly not about a personal choice now!! Well using them is, but making then safe for players, isnt. PERIOD.
