| Most gamers have all their courses in Tw 2005 and there is no CL Setup 06 out. And even if it does come out, will all the 03 thru 05 courses work in TW 06? I really doubt it. Tiger Woods 05 seems like the most reliable so far.I have the new TW 06 game. So can I imput the TW 06 courses into my Tiger Woods 05 game? Jeff provided a method to place old stock courses into newer TW games. Is this method also backward working? |

You can try it, but it would not be advised. The 06 courses were designed for the 06 game engine, not for the 05 game engine. There are no guarantees that it would work.
Im sure EA is aware that not all of the older custom courses work on 06. When 05 came out it was the same way. However EA released a patch for 05 and then they worked. My guess is that EA will be working on a patch to fix the custom course issue. All I can say is you will need to be patient.

06 is strides ahead in my opinion m8, a faster, tougher animal than last year!!!!
More modes, the extra courses are gr8, and yes at
the moment there are problems with 05 courses, well some of them......lol.
I released 4 courses last year and two of them work fine:
Green Raiders
Triplicate
Go GET EM!!!!! plz lol

| I couldnt get Augusta National 2005 to work in Tw06 using Jeffs method. Augusta National 2005 is my favorite. |

When you try to load Augusta 2005 are you getting some kind of error? Is it booting you back to the desktop? In order to figure out what is going on you are going to have to tell us more than I couldt get it to work.
The install method is not my method. All I did was give instructions on how to install courses. There isnt anything special about those directions. They are just how you install course. Please do not refer to it as Jeffs method. |

| No Jeff, when I fire up TW 05 and go to play nine holes and then pick Augusta, click tee off all I get is cant find file message? |

| Does the error message indicate what file it cant find? It sounds like you may be missing a stock library. Since this is an 05 course, have you installed all of the stock libraries into 06 using the Course Utilities program? This includes not only the Stock course libraries, but also the stock Architect libraries (architect, buildings, walls & fences, etc). All of those will need to be installed in order for the 05 custom courses to work. |
