I tried moving the legends from 05 to 06. Jack, Arnie and Ben work fine but when I loaded up Seve and Gary they appeared as Tiger...very strange. Then I transferred a few players I created in 05 over to 06 and they came up all distorted, which was not a surprise. The surprise was when I loaded up my own player (created in 06) and that player had become distorted. So dont try to transfer any user created 05 players into 06 or you might have to redesign your player.
