How can we download add on courses into the new 06 Tiger Woods game without the a new 06 CLSetup program? When will this be made available for us? The TW 06 PC game is due to be out the 20th of September.

Dont blame the messenger guys. There is nothing they can do to make the private designer make a program they do not want to make. Then again, wait until the 06 CA comes out and try the 05 CLtool out. It may just work and we wont need a new tool. |

The 05 will not work on 06 the same way that the 04 version of CLSetup would not work on 05. When you use the CLSetup tool in 05 to install a course or library, certain entries are written to the Windows registry. These registry entries occur in the area for TW2005. If you try to install an 06 course using the 05 versin of CLSetup, it will write registry entries for the 05 game, not for 06.
If Jorgen changes his mind, then there will be an 06 version that would work. Otherwise, the ONLY option you will have is to use the Course Utilites program that comes with the game. The CU program is not impossible to use. It is just different. If you can follow directions then it will work. It is really not as difficult as people are making it out to be. |

lmao you guys are way to funny on this issue. First i have to say i have made courses since 99 and never i repeat never have used a cltool. If your building a 2k6 course use the damm 2k6 libraries why would you use a 2k5 or 2k4 library for 2k6. And yes i have done that my self but it was a mistake by me and i was pissed. And as for downloading to many lib or courses buy another hard drive and only use that drive to build courses.I feel for jeff jarvis to have to respond to bs post im trying to figure out why he came back to the bs post lmao |

you must like hard work then m8 the cloaking tool is invaluble for removing libs not existing in your courses....but then again its preference Id rather not have an extra drive exclusivly for designing, multiple TW installs, etc I like making and playing custom courses... and so having 100+ libs and no cltool would just kill me.....>>>>>Turns and runs>>>>>
