My occasional observations of Forum discussions, comments on new courses for downloading etc suggest to me that this - the TW Golf-playing community - is composed almost entirely of friendly, helpful folk. Another factor that is very evident is the high level of knowledge displayed. All this flattery is to soften you up for an appeal to your tolerance of my relative ignorance.
I have been playing for quite a while and downloading a bit with success. I am full of admiration for the truly amazing work of all architects and the folk who run this site as a labour of love.
Now I am attracted to the idea of moving on to interactive competition, but dont know how. What I would like to see - on behalf of all fellow dummies - is a simple one-page guide on how to enter the competitive interactive TW Golf scene. This page should precede the Registration page and let all newcomers to this wonderful virtual world know the basics about tournaments, how they are run and how to get into them. I have an idea , for example, that the way in might be through joining one of the Clubs in the Community, but this may not be so: it might be by paying the subion to the Official TW PGA Tour (invited with legitimate (purchased) TW game instructions).
I hope you will be able to see my point. It is a very old problem in every walk of life - all of us who can ride bikes are amazed that people actually have to be shown how to do it.
