Does anyone know how to go into C:/programs/EA Sports/TW2005 and delete the video intro clips? Because I cant view them anyway with my new upgrade driver for my Nvidia card. |

If you right click on the shortcut icon for TW2005, select Properties. In the Target area, make sure everything that is there is enclosed in quotes. At the end of the quotes, add /NOINTRO. This will bypass the intro videos. Your target area will look something similar to this:
C:\Program Files\Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005\bin\TW2005.exe /NOINTRO
If you are having that many problems with the new drivers (which I assume you are having since you posted 3 messages complaining about them), you can always roll your drivers back to a previous working version in WinXP.

I did what you said JJ, but when I started up TW2005 it played the intro video anyway minus the picture? How can I go into the program folder of TW 2005 and delete the file. That would work better. |

There is no way that I know of to safely delete the intros. The procedure I gave you, if done correctly, will completely bypass the intros altogether. The intros should not have played at all if you changed the target correctly.
My advice to you as I have mentioned in other posts would be to roll your drivers back to a previous version that worked. I like to keep my drivers up to date as well, but I have had issues with some of the later versions of the nVidia drivers and so I have not updated them. If the game runs fine with an earlier version, then you should stay with that version. If you do upgrade and it causes problems, it isnt the game manufacturers fault. It may be a bug in the video drivers. So I would recommend rolling your drivers back to an earlier version.
That is all the advice I can give. |
