I sent a PM to one of the staff with reference to this subject 3 weeks ago, and I have not had the decency of a reply either. Seems funny to me, a site like this suggests members make a donation, and when members ask questions about the various ways to do so, no one bothers to reply. What a Funny old world this is.

Yeah, Peter, us staff members are just sitting back at night counting all of the hundreds of dollars in donations we are getting. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!! It is people and posts like yours that make me wonder why the heck I even bother working on this site anymore.

Have you ever bothered to think that maybe there is a reason for it??? Lets see...Ever since the server move, AJ has been working his tail off to get a new uploader coded so we can continue to have arch upload their courses to us. Kevin has been busy creating a new site design for our visitors. As for me, I spends hours every day checking out the site to make sure I get new courses up and running. Oh yeah, we all have LIVES outside of this site that we have to take care of too. Personally, my family has a house on the market. In case you didnt know, there is a heck of a lot that goes into selling a home, not to mention trying to find somewhere else to live, boxing up things, etc.

Your post is nothing short of calling into question the INTEGRITY of the staff of this site. Should someone have replied to you within 3 weeks? Yes, they should have. But at the same time, did you bother to email any of the staff??? Maybe the PM didnt go through. Maybe we have had our hands full with other things and your PM didnt take priority at that very moment. I can say that I sure never saw an email come from you. If you are that intersted in donating, how about doing some follow up? How about emailing or PMing more than one of the admins? There are 3 of us listed on the staff page. Your implication is downright insulting and I take GREAT OFFENSE at your accusation that we run a shady site.

In reply to you, mboy...

Email AJ (see the Staff page for his email address) about making a donation. We will gladly accept whatever donation you want to make. We usually ask for donations of at least $20, but we will accept any amount you are willing to donate. The donations go DIRECTLY to the payment of the server bill every month.

We would like to thank all who have made donations to us in the past. It is people like you who keep the site running and keep it free for others to use.

I have been accused of some things in my life, but I have never come across anything so stupid as this.

1. Where in my post do I mention anything about the site being shady. In the time that I have been a member I have always had respect for this site and those who run it. I have always admired the speed in which courses have been uploaded and ready for use by anyone, as with the other statistics the site provides.

2. Just after TWC opened its new site, AJ posted a message in that forum to the effect that courses on this site would always remain free,as a result of this post, and given the fact that I always use this site for downloading courses anyway, I sent AJ a PM asking him if there were any other suggested safe ways to donate to this site, as PayPal required a credit card, and I do not have one,I also asked which currency it would be best for me to use when donating, as I live in the UK, and I know that the exchange rate can work out better for one side. I ask this as I have never donated outside the UK before.

3. I appreciate that the three if you work hard to maintain the site, and you all obviously have high standards, as the site is always there when it is needed, and always has the latest information. For a PM to go unanswered for that length of time made me wonder if indeed I was going to get an answer. As to the question of your Integrity, this has never been, and never will be brought into question by me.

4. The only thing I would apologise for is stating that the PM was sent 3 weeks ago, when in fact it was only 2 weeks.

5. Perhaps you will care to answer my question please.
I look forward to receiving your answer, so that I make made my donation.

Thank you for youre time.

Since AJ handles the finances for the server and the donations I will get in contact with him directly and have him get in contact with you. In the past we have had users send checks or cash if they did not have a credit card/PayPal to use. However I believe most if not all of them have been US users. I do not believe we have ever had someone outside of the US send a donation that was not via credit card and that may be why he has not responded as of yet.

Your post hit me the wrong way with your comments about having the common decency to reply to you and that something seems funny. Your post gives the impress that we dont give a crap about our users and that all we are out for is the money without providing service. Nothing can be further from the truth. Just look at the number of posts that the staff makes here in the forums, in the comments, etc. Look at how fast we try to get new courses up, new features to our users, etc. If we didnt care we wouldnt do this.

We have been bombarded with people getting ticked off at us lately because we dont do something the second they expect it to be done. We spend hours and hours on this site every day, but we also have lives outside of this site and sometimes other things take priority. If people dont realize that or if that isnt good enough then they will just have to be ticked off. Real life things will always take priority for me over this web site. If we arent as quick to reply to emails as people think we should be, there is probably a reason for it and it may be a reason that we dont care to share with everyone.

As I said in my above post, you should have contacted AJ directly via email if he didnt respond to you after a certain amount of time. AJ is good at emailing people back.
