| Scorp, you have to be PATIENT!!!! Just because you upload a course DOES NOT put it automatically on the site. Do you guys not realize that someone from our staff actually checks the files to make sure everything is ok with them BEFORE they go on the site??? A course must be checked prior to going live on the site. That is why we say it may be 24-48 hours before it goes live. I patrol the site numerous times a day, which is why courses usually go up very quickly, but youve go to realize that we have lives OUTSIDE of this site! |

if you look down on line 8 it says the courses will be on the site automatic after you hit the summit button. Jeff you say it comes to you first then it gets put on the site i dont mean to step on any toes but which way is it.

WERE KINDA busy right now. The new uploader is nothing like the old in regards to the player DOESNT have to input anything into the control panel or even zip up thier courses. O and it will automatically notify you if you used a library not in our systems and then automatically upload those librarys and all you have to do is click on one button and it adds all the info to the site. BENIFITS of this is your course will automatically be availble as soon as its finished uploading (OF COURSE THIS WILL STOP IF ITS ABUSED). ONE CATCH we have to input every single guid from the registry for every single course and library since TW 2002 in order for it to work correctly.

That line you reference is INCORRECT! As has been the policy of this site from when we started hosting courses, ALL courses have to be confirmed prior to them showing up on the site. That is the way it has ALWAYS been. We at one point looked at allowing courses to automatically show up on the site, but this policy was rethought due to the possibility of viruses, illegal files (MP3s, pictures, etc).
Kaishodo, I dont mean to sound harsh here, but you stepped into a topic here that is a couple of weeks old, didnt involve you and has been resolved. This post by Tru was not why Scorp posted this topic. It was posted because of impatience. In this particular instance, the arch posted this almost immediately after uploading asking where his course was. He had also asked this on another occasion, even after being told the course needed to be confirmed. Believe it or not, we actually have to SLEEP from time to time! When it was uploaded, that was exactly what I was doing. The point we were trying to get across was that it takes TIME to confirm the course. Im sorry if we arent there to confirm it the second the archs snap their fingers. You have posted courses here and you know that they do not show up automatically, so dont try to back us into a corner there. It has always been on a confirmation basis and it is my hope that it will always be that way. Too many people would try to take advantage of our site otherwise.

| Its all good jeff i just wanted to no if they were getting uploaded auto by the designers or if they are coming to you first then to the site and your right about getting it to you first because of the viruses to protect the site. You guys are awesome here and keep up the great work. |

| What I ment to say and it didnt come out right was that we are working on aa trusted architects progrma that will allow courses to be avaialble directly after upload....thought I put that in there sorry. |
