Let me ask you something. If you purchased a new set of Ping golf clubs and then went out to the golf course to use them, only to find out you only get half the distance on each club you expected what would you do? Take em back, for sure.
This is the defect with TW2005. If you just purchased the game, like I did, and started to play the game after you create your player figure, you will be shocked. YOU MUST PLAY A HUNDRED GAMES AND WIN to get full distnce attributes on your clubs. Who has time to spend hundreds of hours doing that?
While with Tiger Woods 2004 you can create your player figure and have FULL and CORRECT club distance for each club RIGHT AWAY. Big difference eh? This is why Tiger Woods 2004 is a much better game. |

In TW2005, if you create a player as a PRO to start with, you are given a fully developed character ready to use. You cannot take this character through career mode, but you will be able to play singles games and such with a fully developed player. Therefore, that feature is no different than TW2004.
My guess you created your character as an AMATUER character, which required you to go through all of the career mode items to build your character up. |

Yep. You were right JJ. I didnt know that changing your rank from Amatuer to Pro would fix it correctly. I made the change and all works fine now. Thanks again JJ.
