Hi
I am new to the TW2004 download add on courses. I have the CL setup 2k program on my desktop. I downloaded all the necessary course files for a 2004 course into a separate folder I created in my C:\
After all the separate downloads were placed into my created folder for the name course, I opened my CL Setup 2k program. I then looked in for the folder I put each file. I clicked the open button and the CL Setup program installed each file to the TW2004 game directory. That much I understand.
The problem is, is that when I start the TW2004 game and choose the golf course that I installed via the CL Setup program, a window always pops up that says that it cannot find the particular golf course? I dont know what I did wrong? I clicked and opened EACH file pertaining to the golf course using the CL Setup 2k program. Why wont TW2004 game recognize the the golf course? What am I doing wrong? Please help.Thanks.The courses I downloaded and failed to open in TW2004 were Blue Ridge, Northern Hills and Eagle Creek. The only courses that worked were Augusta 2004 and Cherry Hills?

It sounds like you are still missing some libraries for those other courses or the course file did not install properly. Based on your deion it is really difficult to tell what you have done and what you havent. I would recommend looking back at the FAQ on how to install courses and libraries to make sure you have followed all of the steps properly. I would recommend that you check and make sure that each course and library file is actually installed properly. Open up the Course Utilities program and see what is and isnt installed. If you see a required file that isnt installed, install it using the CLSetup program. I would also manually open each zip file just to make sure the file downloaded properly. If not, redownload the file.
Thats all I can tell you at this point because I cant clearly interpret what you have written. |

Thank you J J
I found out what the problem was. You MUST have the Architect file in your library of TW2004 or else no matter what add on course you download into TW2004 via CL Setup 2k the course will NOT open for play when you run the TW2004 game.
I re-installed the TW2004 game without deleting the game I already had installed and the Architect file was there. Thanks again. All works great now.
