I have downloaded and installed the 2004 stock libs. However, I cant play them. Is it possible to play them w/o 2004 game? I have installed both with the CL 2005 program and 2005 course utilities. CL 2004 wont load w/o the game.

You dont play the libraries. You install the libraries which are required for use on other courses. Im not exactly sure what you are trying to do, but you did NOT download COURSES. You downloaded and installed LIBRARIES, which are just supplemental pieces for playing other courses.
