Please bear with me I am new to this forum. I downloaded Blue River Run for TW/05. Also d/l C/Lsetup utility. When I go to install this course it claims it needs Kapalua directory which I dont seem to have. I searched and found one for TW/04 but had no size to it as in 00 megs. So how do I install this course?? Thanks for your patience...

Bill

Tigershark is correct. Kapalua is one of the stock libraries for 2004 and the only way to get it is to own TW2004 since EA hasnt released these libraries free to the public yet. My only recommendation is to pick up a cheap copy of TW2004 somewhere. Most places should have that game for under $20 now. It is a good investment not just for the libraries which let you play all TW2004 courses in TW2005, but also for the stock courses that were in 04 but not in 05. These courses will play in 05 as well.

Thanks Tiger for your prompt reply. I do have TW/04 and it has a Hawiian course Princeville, but it does not say Kapalua anywhere. I copied the course file to the install file I have anyway, with no results. Im puzzled.

If you have TW2004, you need to do a FULL install of the game to get all of the courses and libraries. Some of them are compressed in CAB files and cannot be obtained directly from the CDs. The only way to get all of them is to do a full install of TW2004 and then get the courses/libraries from there.

OK thank you for your help. I have one more question. I did do a successful install of a different course. The only way to play the new course is in practice mode? Is there anyway to play the new course normally?

Any course that download and install should be able to be played normally. Just go into Custom Mode and set up the parameters for the game. There is no way to make a course to where it plays only in practice mode.
