| I just downloaded & installed eagle ridge golf club & the rock courses with all the required libraries. When I play them, all the rough is solid gray on the course and black in overhead view. Does anyone know what the possible problem could be? I used the installer & checked to make sure all the required libraries are there. Thanks in advance. |

What kind of video card are you using? Is it a 3D video card, like an nVidia or ATI card or is it a video card that is built into your motherboard? Do you have the latest video drivers for your card?
If it is not a 3D video card that is supported by TW then you are probably running in software mode rather than hardware mode. Running in software mode can cause the problems you are talking about. |

| I have a ATI radeon 9800 pro 3d video card and experienced no issues with the stock courses. My problems started with the 2 courses I downloaded last nite. They look like fantastic courses and want them to be visually correct. Other than the rough they seem to play ok. |

| I am having this problem with eagle ridge golf club & the rock. I had the video card installed about 3 months ago and the drivers were current then. I have no problems with sims2 which is a major video hog. These courses seem to play ok with the exception of the rough. See my original post. I believe Jeff mentioned something about running under hardware vs. software mode. I dont know how much difference it will make but will try that & see if it clears up the issue. Thanks. |
