Hello everyone,
Ive looked everywhere on the internet in an attempt to work out why I have no big crashing waves on 2005, even though I had them in 2004.
As nobody replied to my prior questions on this subject so I guess theres no magic wand to solve this.
Has anyone got any ideas that I could try?
Thanks.

1) Make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card. Is it an ATI or NVidia 3D card or is it a video card built onto the motherboard? 2) Make sure you are running the latest version of DirectX. 3) Check your graphics settings in the game and adjust your settings lower. 4) Run Start, then Run and type in dxdiag. Run the DirectX diag tool and run the various tests to see if there are any video card problems.

Thanks for replying.
I have an ATI Radeon 9200 256MB. I will check for the latest driver.
I have checked using different settings in game exhaustively and it doesnt seem to make any difference.
There doesnt seem to be any symptoms of any video card problems at all other than the fact that the waves dont exist (although they did in 2004).
Im stumped.
I have sent an email to EA support havent had a reply yet.
Thanks again for your help.

Definitely check for a later driver. Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling TW? |
