Since my initial post yesterday yielded no suggestions I will today try to elaborate more clearly my findings. Since I initially installed the 2k5 Course architect, every course for 2k5 crashes at the beginning of every hole. After the crash, when I launch the icon again I get the message that my last game ended abnormally do I want to continue. If I choose yes the course and hole loads. After completing the hole it crashes again before the next hole, and the whole process begins again. I originally thought it may just be my custom player that was corrupt, but alas... it also happens with any player I choose, even the ones that came with the game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game 4 times now, and this is still happening. I have turned all settings to manual and put everything possible on low. I have made sure my nvidia card has the most recent drivers, I run adaware,Spybot,and registry mechanic on a daily basis. I have deleted everything out of my user path/temp folder prior to reinstalling. Everything played perfectly, and my custom player was through all legend matches, on the first challenge of the last round of scenarios, maxxed out with regards to lessons power etc., and 3/4 s of the way through the 2006 tour. This all started after I ftp received and installed the 2k5 CA on Sunday night. Sorry for the lengthiness of this post, but I am at a loss and trying to be thorough in the deions of the problems as well as what I have tried. Anyone who has any thoughts please help! Did you also install the patch for the game that was also released at the same time as the CA? This patch allows 05 courses created with the 05 CA to be played properly. I have also seen some people have problems even with the patch if the CA was installed first and then the patch. I would recommend installing in the following order:
1) The TW2005 game
2) The game patch
3) The CA |

| Thanks for the input Jeff. I did unfortunately already try that. I have done 4 installs with the following combos. TW2K5,patch,CA/TW2k5,CA,Patch/Tw2k5,patch, no CA/ and finally TW2k5, no patch, with no CA. I am at a total loss. |
