Here is how to do it with the Course Utilities program to install libraries/courses.

The location of where you install the courses/libraries doesnt matter. The Course Utilities program adds entries to the registry that tells the program where to find your courses/libraries. That said, I have found that the more organization you have with this, the easier it is to keep track of what you have. This is the way I do it (this isnt the only way, but it is my way):

I have a folder called TW Libraries in the same location as my TW game. In the folder, I have created subfolders for TW2002 Stock, TW2002 Custom, TW2003 Stock, TW2003 Custom, TW2004 Stock and TW2004 Custom libraries. I copy all of my libraries into the appropriate folders. Then using the Course Utilities program for TW2005, I add them to the game. With CU open, I select the same folder in both the Source and Destination windows. So say I want to add the TW2004 stock libraries into the game. In the Source and Destination windows I select my TW2004 Stock folder. When I click the arrow to add them, all of them get added to the game. No files are being transferred because I already have the library files where I want them. What I am doing is allowing the program to create the registry entries so TW2005 knows those libraries are there. I repeat this process for each group of libraries. Once that is done, I dont have to worry about my libraries at all. All libraries are install.

To add the TW2004 stock course to TW2005 I did the same thing. I took the course folders (BAY, PIN, SAW, etc) from the TW2004 courses folder and copied them to the TW2005 courses folder. Then using the Course Utilities program, I added each one to TW2005.

I hope that makes sense to some out there. This is the same process that I have used since TW2003 came out and it has worked like a charm. Keeping the libraries organized into folders like this will certainly make it a lot easier when the next version of the game comes out.

Jorgen has a beta version of his installer out for TW2005, which you could use as well to install the courses/libraries. You can get the beta here: http://w1.854.telia.com/~u85417550/

Some of the courses and libraries are hidden...they are bundled in CAB files that cannot be opened or accessed directly from the CDs. The only way to get all of the courses and libraries is to do a full install of 04.
