my computer.
1. putting seems slower, not as fluid
2. still the same old funky career thingy, I cant wait until someone posts a career cheat on the net so I can bypass this stuff and use whatever equipment and clothing I want to use. Annoying.
3. the complete game runs much more fluidly, much faster and snappier than TW2k4. I just cant believe how much faster it is than 2k4 even at a higher resolution than 2k4. This is a brilliant computer game in my mind. Total value for the dollar. Too bad they cant create a baseball game that is as good as this.

| check that, no customizable season mode? I cant set up a custom season? I cant easily view my stats or course stats? Whoa, getting funkier and funkier by the minute. |

"TW2005 does require a much more elaborate video card than 2004 did. The one thing that I really like is the shot timer...no more players stalling to get people to quit. There isnt as many courses to choose from...hopefully wrs will solve that.  |
I dont have TW 2005 yet and Im not 100% sure it came with a course utilitie but if it did, you cna install your libraries and courses form tw2004, all you need to do is make sure to install ALL of the stock libraries form 2k4 |

Ive always used the course installer that came with the game. The way courses are installed in this game is kind of funky, but I have it sussed now. About 75% of my courses transferred to 2k5 without graphic error. The courses and indeed the game itself plays much faster than 2k4.
Unfortunately, I think EA is going the wrong direction here with gameplay. Sort of like the way they ruined my other fave sport, baseball. This game should be all about tournement golf like its namesake. The menus and everything else should be set up to easily produce or replicate your favorite tour but it doesnt look like that is what this game is all about. Gag
The game plays very smoothly now and the actual golf is sterling in character, the rest of the game has no character.
I do have to laugh at myself, I kept looking at the resume button as resume, rather than resume. lol |
