First of all can I say that last week I bought TWPGA2004 on EA Classics for a tenner and its the best fun Ive had for years (without lying down) - my last experience of computer golf was PGA97.
I downloaded Augusta 2004 and Autumn Ridge to try out-but on both I find that on some holes the greens reflect the surrounding trees and stuff as if they were water.This only happens on the 2 courses I downloaded - the courses with the game are all fine.
Ive searched this board for solutions and tried turning off animated galleries and indeed turning everything off to a minimum but no luck.
Ive read the tutorials about installing courses and Im sure Im doing everything as instructed but it still happens. Any ideas? |

Thanks for the help TrubluMich but unfortunately it didnt work. I tried downloading Troon and the same thing happens with that one as well.
Every course included in the game is fine so Im wondering if Im installing the libraries in the right place. Ive tried using CLsetup as well as the Course Utilities program and everything seems correct but it looks like I still must be missing something. |

| Sounds like it might be an issue with your video card. What brand of video card are you using? Do you have the latest drivers installed for that card? |

I think I got it.
I removed the course disk to replace the patched exe with the origional. This didnt make any difference so I went back the patched exe.
I then started the game up - no problem... got to the point where I was selecting Troon as my course and when I clicked tee off
I got the message that spy.tcl could not be found place the course disk in the drive (words to that effect). When I had installed the game I didnt install all the courses to save some disk space. So I installed Spyglass on my hard drive and everything now works (so far). Obviously the courses I had downloaded must also require elements from the Spyglass library which for some reason wouldnt work in real time from the CD.
So at least if I encounter further problems Ill remove the course disk and the game will indicate whats missing.

Also Ill take this opportunity to thank all those guys that put their efforts into building courses for everyone to use..
