This weeks Tour stop, the Seve Trophy, drew to a close with the USA’s Charlie Roberts, (Champ) and Keith DeCollewaert, (Adv), topping the Leaderboards in ’03 and ’04 respectively.
Charlie had the harder fight with Grant Robertson, (Scotland – Champ) tying for 1st place but losing in a card playoff. Indeed the top 7 players were within 5 shots of each other!
Keith on the other hand ‘cakewalked’ the ’04 Interim Tour event, winning by 14 shots and is now, (better late than never), moving up to Expert level for the next Tour Stop, The WGC – American Express Championship. Steve Crawford, (NIR – Intermediate) and Sam McLanahan, (USA – Expert), both scored well to tie in 2nd place. The top 6 players all managed to shoot 2 rounds in the 60’s, myself included, (YAY!). Well done guys.
When the Tour starts properly any new members will have to play the QS. Members who play enough events on the Interim Tour, for us to judge their true playing level and/or handicap, will not.
The interim Tour is different from the 03 Tour in that no one is forced to play to any particular level, YET. Members will be ADVISED that they should move up or down a level until the Season starts proper. Whilst nothing is set in stone I would think that Members who choose to coast along shooting big scores will be asked to complete the QS before the season starts so we can better identify their true capabilities so it is in everyone’s interest that they apply for the correct level and/or move when it is suggested by the TD.

New members continue to sign up daily enhancing our position as the largest TW Tour on the internet.
Some site problems persist but the host is working hard on fixing them.
