Virtual PC/XP mode is an XP system inside your Win7 system
you can change settings on startup to allow access to W7 folders and files
(ie especially to install 08 stock libraries for use as an 08 course, and other custom libraries for use in design)

but any software needs to be installed in the Virtual PC
so yes
tw06 - Course Architect - clsetup06 - Library Crreator (if needed)
need to be installed on the Virtual PC also

Thanks for the reply jbcalg

Yes Argon this is what you need:

When you have the Professional, Ultimate or Enterprise version of Windows 7, you can use Windows virtual pc, and you dont have to install XP on your PC to compile courses
When you have the Home version of Windows 7, you can t use virtual PC, you will have to compile your course on a system with XP, or you will have to install XP aswell on your PC.
