| Merry Christmas everyone. I have a question concerning a number of the custom courses I have downloaded. Some courses include ambient sounds (birds mostly) that are overly loud, and I was wondering if there was some way to either lower the volume of those sounds or remove them altogether. I am an experienced TW file editor. But working with the CA is something completely foreign to me and I honestly have no idea what is possible as far as working with and editing custom course sound files. Thanks very much. |

Hiya bangus, Merry Christmas.
Yes in some of the custom courses some sounds ( mostly birds ) are a bit loud.
The course designers can set the volume level of the birds sounds in Course architect, and sometimes it is set a bit high.
Only the course designer can edit the sound level in the course architect file, so i am afraid you can t change it.
The only option i know is to turn down the volume in TW08, but of course all sounds will be turned down then. |

| Hi Gun, Merry Christmas. Okay and thanks, that answers my question. I was hoping those sounds could somehow be tweaked by editing the generic sound files in the Courses folder, even though I already tried that with no success. Too bad. |
