I am aware now that the architect won't work outside of windows xp, and I have only a windows 8 laptop now. I am playing and loving tiger 08 occaisonally, but I really wish I had some of my older courses, that I designed, to play. I can't get my old xp machine working and I was wondering what it would take for someone else to get my files from me and try and compile them to work in 08. I realize it might not be possible, but I am not even able to try.

Would anyone want to give it a shot?

The one I would really like to have work is Daulouth Golfing Grounds. I wish I could give it new textures from my Prairie Dunes course, but I can't even run the architect. If anyone wanted to add those textures to the architect file, that would rock, but that might be asking too much. I'd settle for it just as it was in 2004. I wonder if any one those older courses work though?

Seems that the Course Architect should work in Windows 8, then you could always get someone from the CourseDownloads site to compile it for you. If you are not able to get it to work in Windows 8 send me a PM and I will gladly do it for you.
