hi
need some help with course design
i can create a fairway, bunkers, etc with the help of smiling goats video they are excellent for beginners like me.
i create a new course with a flat terrain
create a shape for fairway, bunkers, and green
but heres the problem, i am having trouble raisng the green up, creating slopes on green say tiers and then i want to make the fairway and the fringe around the green slope up to the green, i have tried and spent hours learning but i am getting into trouble and get frustrated as i have spent hours trying to learn this.
i make mistakes and then i cant get the course back to where it was ok as the shapes go all out of align
can someone please help me, i have found the videos good to get started but need some more expertise.

Best way to learn is by experience (unfortunately it takes a lot of time and a lot of mistakes...)
Don't forget if you have a shape completely inside another shape and select both shapes, the slope will only go up or down from the outside of the bigger shape to the outside of the smaller shape. So that area of the inside shape will remain unchanged but higher or lower.
Sorry if this makes no sense... I know what I'm trying to say and can't really say what I'm trying to. |
