hi there
i am a new member and just started playing tw08
i have the tw06 installed as well as i was told you need this for the course architect and i am having a go at making a course, i have just been playing around trying to learn how to use the course architect and need some help.
how do i convert the course to play in tw08 as it says missing files and wont load
also i teed off on the first hole and the game goes back to the tee again, its like a mulligan and always goes back to the tee.
the main problem is i want to play and test it in tw08.
i have only done 1 hole just to learn on.

Sounds like a library problem. You need all the libs that you used in the course design installed in TW2008. If you could not get the course to load how are you playing the first hole? |

Sounds like you need to install the 06 stock libraries and any other libraries you are using into the 08 game. For the stock ones, open TWCaddie and install the same way you would install any other libraries. The directory is C/Program Files/EA Sports/Tiger Woods 06/courses (;or libraries, forget which one off hand). The stock ones are the ones that are listed with capitalized abbreviations like COG.tcl or PBL.tcl, etc.
You should also install the 08 stock libraries into the 06 game so you can use those when creating courses. That way they can be classified as 08 courses and the trees will look good. You need to use the 06 Course Utilities for this. |

| if your in practice mode, in the menu select always follow. you wont be put back on the tee box with tracing. |

Yes to install courses and libraries in Tw06 you can use: Course Utilities06......or automatic installer: CLsetup06
You can download CLsetup06 in section: Utilities....Utilities and files for TW06....Course installation tools
To try your course in TW08, you have to install it in Tw08 with TW Caddie08.
As Bobby said you are probably missing some TW06 stock libraries, and maybe some other libraries.
You will receive a list of the missing libraries.
When you can t find the TW06 stock libraries in TW06, there is a second option: You can download the TW06 stock libraries on link below:
