I have just installed Course Architect in Windows 7 and will open but when I try to continue work it says "Tiger Woods has stopped working". And I have noticed that this happens when I open a course I am working on it is ok but when i right click on a section to change a texture that is when it happens? Any help???
Thanks

Go to the Course Architect folder in the C: drive and delete the folder named "Swap Files." When you go back into the architect it will take a while to reload the textures but you should be good after that. Also make sure you cloak all unnecessary libraries. |

Thanks Bobby, I knew I was suppose to do that but being a new install on a new system, did not think about that. Works fine now. Thanks

Well the problem seems to be rearing its head again. On my Windows 7 comp I cannot work with CA, whenever I try to compile it "stops working" error.
In an earlier post to me you said "delete" swap folder. Did you mean actually delete the whole folder or just the contents.
When I delete the contents it does no good, still getting TW stopped working error.
Thanks Ken Cowboy34 |

what version of windows 7 do you have. home, pro, etc. it has to be compiled in XP mode. if you have windows 7 pro, you can get pc virtual machine which will put XP in. its free. |

Yes as Mike said, compiling courses will not work on Win7.
Some more info about the Win7 versions and how to compile:
When you have the Professional, Ultimate or Enterprise version of Windows 7, you can use Windows virtual pc ( VM ) to compile courses. When you have the Home version of Windows 7, you will have to compile your course on a system with XP.

Thanks for the info All. Yes it is Windows 7 Home Edition, so I will have to compile in XP.
Thanks again.
