I haven't really had the time over the past years to start any courses from scratch, but I have tinkered with previous courses. Sumter National was always my favorite creation, but over the years I got a little bored with it, and I've been doing a lot of changes, including 2 complete re-plants and changing aspects of every hole. The latest replant moved the course to my home state of Michigan. The course, now named Waverly Hills (name comes from a local public course that has been closed down), is now a par 71 (18 is now a par 4) measuring just under 7,500 yards. Gone are all the flowers and pines, and in their place are weeds, oaks, maples, walnuts etc. Three holes (3, 9, and 18) are brand new and every hole has major structural changes with numerous bunkers added/rebuilt, green modifications (the 10th and 11th completely rebuilt), and elevation work. The textures are a combination of Royal County down (the rough and deep green rough) and Bethpage Textures (fairways, greens (which are a bit faster than normal!), tees, weeds) and 2 new textures i created for sand and the hard-pan in the woods.

par 3 13th (the tee has been moved on the other side of the river)
and 2 looks at the new 520 yd par 4, 18th, doesn't play that long as the tee shot's downhill.

Looks nice. Kinda has a Bethpage look/feel with a splash of Augusta bunkers.

| Thanks, I'm going for the US Open type course. I have since swapped out the brown clumpy weeds for a fuller, yellower weed texture. I also just got done rebuilding the par 3 16th hole. Will post some pics later. |
